Thanksgiving Cruise and Wreath-Making Madness

Hey everyone – sorry it’s been a minute! I just got back from a week-long cruise to the Bahamas for Thanksgiving and I have been out-of-touch with reality for a few days.

We took a much-needed hiatus for the holiday and it couldn’t have come at a better time. As many of you know, I’m in the height of wreath-making season which began (for me) in July and won’t end until January 1st, 2025… So for the past 6 months, my life has been chaos – my house is a mess, my floors are cluttered, my dining room table is inaccessible, my coffee table is a temporary workspace, and my couch is covered in glitter. I was very much was in need of a little escape.

We left on Thanksgiving Day and traveled to Nassau and Princess Cays on the Carnival Freedom. Overall, the vacation was spectacular and although it was a little difficult fairing with no internet, it gave me the perfect environment to kick back, relax, and de-stress… only to come back to 5 custom orders, 7 wreaths that need building for shows, 5 upcoming vendor events, one class, two TV appearances, and, of course, Christmas.

Did I meantion that my son’s elf went missing and I had to drop what I was doing to fetch a new one!? Definitely not something I had time for, but I made it happen! Because it’s all about the holiday magic.

It’s been absolute chaos here and I’ve spent the last 48 hours hunched over building wreaths on my living room floor. I’m ready for another cruise already! LOL.

Needless to say, I’ve hardly had time to eat, think, or breathe, much less pop on to update my blog so thank you in advance for understanding. I have some VERY exciting events coming up in the next few weeks, so I will be back soon with more updates. Ciao for now!
