For Mimi Marino, that instinct has always been part of the creative process — an appreciation for color, texture, scale, detail, and the littlunexpected elements that make a space feel unforgettable.
In 2020, during a season when the world slowed down and home became the center of everything, Mimi began creating.
What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much bigger: Bay Area Wreath Co.
Five years later, what began around a kitchen table has evolved into an elevated holiday design brand serving clients throughout Florida and shipping beautifully curated creations across the continental United States.
Today, Bay Area Wreath Co. is known for custom wreaths, swags, garlands, centerpieces, and holiday décor — but the vision has always been about more than individual pieces.
It is about creating an atmosphere.

Mimi approaches holiday decorating much the way a designer approaches a room.

Mimi’s work lives somewhere between artistry and design.

Stevens, Nancy Brown, and Regency International to distinctive ornaments, botanicals, embellishments, and the unexpected details that make a finished design feel one-of-a-kind.

From St. Petersburg, With a Vision
There is still a larger dream taking shape.
One day, Mimi envisions a destination in the heart of St. Petersburg — part luxury holiday boutique, part creative studio, part gathering place.

Shelves filled with beautifully curated ornaments.
A working studio where creativity spills onto the tables and clients can gather to make something beautiful themselves.
And perhaps, just beyond the studio, a charming coffee shop serving seasonal lattes, freshly ground coffee, and warm pastries.
It is a vision that feels less like a business plan and more like a place Mimi has already visited in her imagination.
